She is the CEO of Bloom Digital Media, an Ontario-based game company that has been releasing original and captivating mobile games since 2012. With a strategic focus on developing accessible games for under-served players Bloom has created successful titles on small budgets and nurtured a passionate fan base. Bloom’s commitment to representing diverse characters and cultures with authenticity & honesty demonstrates that there are alternatives to traditional power dynamics in work and play.
Since launching Bloom Digital Media in 2012 Miriam has led several client-facing projects and the publication of the company's first original IP LongStory, an award-winning romance game for young players. LongStory has been downloaded over 1 million times on Nintendo Switch, Steam, IOS, Android and Itch. Their second game Later Daters; a dating sim set in a seniors residence launches on Steam and Switch in April 2020.
Miriam is a member of the women's gaming collective DMG-TO, Interactive Ontario, teaches at Humber in the School of Media Studies and Information Technology, and at Centennial College in the Game Design and Development program.
