Now, he presents his outstanding novel about harsh life and extreme isolation on the inhospitable shores of Newfoundland - The Innocents. This Canadian poet and prose writer in his latest book, he desribes the history of the native island and its tenacious inhabitants. The novel which was published last year in Canada and the USA, met with extremely enthusiastic reviews of readers and critics. The Innocents was nominated for the prestigious Canadian Literary Awards Scotiabank Giller Prize and Governor General's Award. Polish premiere of this book will take place in August 2020 during the Sopot Literary Festival.
