Born in 1973 in Cracow, he’s been living in London for 20 years. He holds a PhD from the Jagiellonian University. An anthropologist and a researcher at the University of Roehampton (London), he is collaborating with the Centre of Migration Research research unit of the University of Warsaw. He is studying migration, multiculturalism, homelessness, and social resistance. He has done field work with Polish migrants in the UK, Polish Romanies, and the residents of the shanty town in Cuzco. For his debut, Dzieci Kazimierza, he received the historical award of the Polityka weekly.
