The author of the famous White and Red aka Snow White and Russian Red, which received the Paszport Polityki award, and Paw królowej, which won the Nike literary award, she also writes plays staged all around the world, e.g. A Couple of Poor, Polish-Speaking Romanians and Między nami dobrze jest, which won her an award from the Ministry Of Culture and National Heritage. In 2018, she published Inni ludzie – a novel the 2019 performances in the TR Warszawa theatre were based on. The film adaptation is also in the works. She is a columnist for Dwutygodnik and lives in Warsaw.
