A man of the two Warsaw poles – born in Bielany but raised in Ursynów, where he lives. His first job as a journalist was for Życie Warszawy; then, he has written for Rzeczpospolita, National Geographic Polska, Tygodnik Powszechny, and Pismo. He was shortlisted for Barbara Łopieńska award for the best press interview. His first book Hajstry. Krajobraz bocznych dróg was the best travel book in the 2018 National Geographic Travelery competition and received the 2018 Magellan awards from Rynek Książki. He was also nominated for the literary award presented by the city of Warsaw, Witold Gombrowicz literary award, and the Conrad Award. In November 2019, his second book Kiczery. Podróż przez Bieszczady was published by Wydawnictwo Czarne and nominated for the Odkrycia Empiku award.
